Our first screen stands at Burger Point junction on Ameenee Magu, one of Malé’s main roads, opposite Maldives National University and Ahmadhiyya School. It’s the first of several screens we’re putting up in busy parts of the city.
Ameenee Magu runs the full length of Malé, and around this junction are several schools, futsal and volleyball courts, clinics, offices, cafés and restaurants. The crowd changes through the day: parents and students in the morning, office workers at lunch, riders and families in the evening.

The screen plays ads one after another, like a playlist that repeats every 2½ minutes from 5am to 1:30am. Your plan decides how much of that playlist is yours. In advertising that share is called share of voice, or SOV: on 10% SOV, your ad gets 10% of the screen’s time. A bigger share means your ad comes back more often. A 30-second ad uses twice the time of a 15-second one, so on the same plan it plays half as often.
